Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fellowship of Beer ("FOB") at thefob.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fellowship of Beer is a beer discovery platform that allows users to cross-reference venue menus against their personal beer history. Users voluntarily upload their own Untappd data, and venue menus are sourced from publicly available information. The Service is operated by OÜ Fine By Us, a company registered in Estonia.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

FOB offers free and paid membership tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Creem, our payment provider. Payments are processed in EUR. Subscription renewals are managed by Creem. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly from the billing portal, accessible via your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer or misuse the platform or its data. Automated access or bulk data collection without prior written consent is prohibited. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.

6. Third-Party Data

FOB integrates with Untappd data voluntarily exported and uploaded by the user. We are not affiliated with Untappd. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any data you import into the Service. Venue menu information is sourced from publicly available pages.

7. Intellectual Property

The FOB name, logo, and all content created by us remain our intellectual property. You retain ownership of any personal data you import. We do not claim ownership over your Untappd check-in history.

8. Refunds

We aim to respond to all refund and support requests within 3 business days. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. As Creem acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions, refunds are processed through Creem. Creem reserves the right to issue refunds on our behalf if customer requests are not resolved in a timely manner.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy or Creem's acceptable use guidelines. Repeat violations may result in permanent account removal.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

12. Contact
